## The Antique archetype

**Antique** is a fossil sub-theme Pokémon revealed alongside Pitch Black's Megas. It hangs off **Fossil Quarry**, a Stadium card that searches out **Antique Item** cards, so the Items are the engine rather than a side attraction.

## Which Pokémon support it

Pokémon named **Relicanth**, **Dhelmise** and **Chi-Yu** as part of the Antique line-up. Dhelmise also turns up as one of the four Build & Battle Box promos.

## Worth collecting on its own

Pitch Black has **more than 20 Trainer cards**, and the Antique Items are a chunk of that. If you collect by theme rather than by rarity, they're a self-contained mini-set inside the expansion.
