A new rarity for the 30th anniversary
Futuristic Rare (abbreviated "FUR" on the Japanese cards) is a new rarity tier introduced with 30th Celebration. Pokémon describes them as cards "featuring evocative new visuals" — a fresh, modern art treatment created specially for the anniversary set.
The first Futuristic Rares
The debut Futuristic Rares are Mewtwo ex and Mew ex, illustrated by guest artist YOSHIROTTEN. As a brand-new chase rarity headlining an anniversary set, these are expected to be among the most sought-after cards in 30th Celebration.
How rare are they?
Exact pull rates haven't been confirmed. As a top-tier secret-style rarity in an all-foil set, expect them to sit at the very top of the chase, above the set's Illustration Rares and ex cards.
