When they went on sale
Build & Battle Boxes were sold at pre-release events from July 4, 2026, ahead of the set's July 17 launch.
Do they count towards the set?
They're foil promos with their own card numbers, so yes — they belong in a complete Pitch Black collection even though they never come out of a booster pack. Dhelmise doubles as part of the set's Antique fossil theme.
